Balgowan Primary School needed a website that gave them full power over their own updating and editing with a minimum of technical expertise. They needed the ability to upload newsletters and other documents, as well as make instant updates with important news, such as school closures due to snow.

The site was built in WordPress for a number of reasons, including future support for updates and ease of updating, intuitive administration, as well as the option to install a number of external plugins to expand the feature set of the site over its life.
